Kim Heinbuch currently lives in West Des Moines, IA with her husband Joe.  She has worked for more than 29 years as an administrative assistant at a local insurance company.

Foreign travel has always been a passion seeing countries such as Thailand, Japan, Central America, the Caribbean islands, the French Polynesian islands, and Mexico.  She also enjoys traveling inside the United States which has included Las Vegas, Orlando, Key West, Arizona, Hawaii, and many ski trips to Colorado.

During each trip, she would often blog back to family and friends on her daily adventures.  Enough people began to comment on her writing ability that she began to take it seriously and pursue as a hobby.

She continues to travel extensively enjoying the culture and experiences at the heart of each journey.
